Good belt, bad lever After purchasing this in April of 2017 and using it pretty regularly for heavy squats and deadlifts, I found that the arm on the metal lever where it latches into the opposite side had broken off. Sad to see something less than 6 months old break after normal wear and tear. It does run a little large, so be forewarned about that, so all in ok, the leather belt is good, but the lever is terrible. I E-mailed the company yesterday and am awaiting a response now, hopefully they will send a new lever out free of charge since it’s still fairly new. I don’t think I am willing to drop more money on a belt after having this experience though.
over all its good just make sure the hook goes all the way … The levers doesn’t lock after a while you have to keep un-doing it and redoing it. It could just be mine though. over all its good just make sure the hook goes all the way through the belt hole or else you the hook will dig into the belt hole and cause damage to the belt hole.
Arrived defective. Advance lever closure belt screw holes arrived stripped and unable to secure the lever to the belt.Returning and reordering, hopefully this review can be changed in a positive way.Edit: got the second belt today, everything works great and the leather feels good, squatting tomorrow, might be bumping to five stars.
